Mission

Seeking unconventional methods to produce better food sustainably through repurposed materials, preservation of genetic diversity, modern understanding of soil health, and traditional farming techniques.

Practices

01. Sustainable feeding
Sourcing by-products from craft food production such as brewers grains, milk and whey, wheat bran, and seasonal products such as pumpkins and apple pomace. 20 acres are also planted to forage crops. All grain fed is non-GMO.

02. Genetic Diversity and Selection
We choose species and cultivars that thrive in a natural enviornment without chemical inputs. In having our own breeding programs for both plants and animals we can adapt our genetics to our specific environment and farm practices.

03. Repurposing & Recycling
Rather than invest in infrastructure, we repurpose waste materials to tend to the animals. Old bins and pallets are made into shelters, trampolines are shade in the summertime, and all troughs and waterers are repurposed as well.
